Who We Are

Our mission is to provide the snowmobiling public an extraordinary experience on over 300 miles of Area 20’s remarkable trail system, allowing access to thousands of acres of spectacular terrain. While snowmobile trail grooming is weather dependent, our groomer will run every night possible to achieve our mission for your enjoyment.

This committee is composed of volunteers appointed by Elmore County Commissioners. The committee is responsible for Area 20 snowmobile grooming operations. We work in conjunction with Boise National Forest, Mountain Home Highway District, Elmore County Commissioners, Elmore County Sherriffs Department, and Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. The trail system runs from Atlanta to the North and as far as Prairie to the South, covering elevations from a low of 4200’ at Anderson Ranch Reservoir to Trinity Mountain, elevation 9,500’.

The trails are typically groomed December through April. We have created this page to communicate with riders and snowmobile enthusiasts what is happening with the trails during the season, communicate meeting schedules, and provide a place for riders to share information about the trails and access.
