Excellent organization. One of the highlights of my time served.
Does anyone still have a copy of the awesome photo of the cannon being fired? This was taken when OCS was at Camp Cook. Thanks
LPB is hosting a screening of the upcoming series “The Vietnam War” at the Alexandria Veterans Administration Health Care System on Tuesday September 12. Enjoy refreshments at 6PM and the screening at 6:30PM. This screening is generously underwritten by the Louisiana Forestry Association. We will also be recording oral histories from Vietnam Veterans and others affected by the war that day. Reserve your seat by emailing [email protected] or by calling 225-767-4274. Additionally, LPB honors Louisiana’s Vietnam Veterans by inviting them to sign our large-scale movable map of the war theater. Veterans can sign the map to record their service. Friends and families are invited to sign in honor of lost loved ones. You will have the opportunity to sign it at our screening. LPB wishes to express our deepest thanks to Lamar Advertising for donating this map in honor of those who served.
