Plumstead Parks and Rec

Plumstead Parks and Rec Plumstead Township Parks and Recreation aims to bring the community programs, events, and summer camps throughout the year hosted in our parks system.

Parks Include: Allohaken, Owls Nest, Jennifer Schweitzer, Landis, Joseph E. Hanusey III Community Park, Veterans, North Branch, and Cabin Run.

*Park Policies: 1. Park hours are sunrise to sunset 2. Parks do not have comfort facilities available 3. All areas are open to the citizens and general public on a first come first served basis 4. Organized group gatherings require completion of a Facility

Use Form. Plumstead Township is located in the eastern portion of central Bucks County. It is approximately 25 miles north of the City of Philadelphia and just northeast of Doylestown Borough, the County seat. While newer housing developments have brought more families to our area, Plumstead Township retains its rural history, having preserved nearly 3,000 acres to date through the purchase of conservation easements.
