Our parks maintenance teams are the GOATS…and goats! 🐐

Thanks to Pittsburgh Department of Public Works, Pittsburgh Park Rangers, Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, and Allegheny Goatscape for bringing these four-legged landscapers back to tackle invasive plants and help keep our parks healthy:

Goats have become a useful tool in clearing unwanted brush in Pittsburgh's parks and green spaces.

These 28 young people spent the summer at the Carnegie Natural History, Carnegie Museum of Art, The Andy Warhol Museum and Kamin Science Center, gaining valuable experience while welcoming visitors from around the world.

Thank you to Partner4Work, Pittsburgh Regional Transit, CCAC, Youth Enrichment Services | Nonprofit, Allegheny County Government, Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania, the Homeless Children's Education Fund, and the many partners who came together to make this opportunity possible for Pittsburgh’s young adults.

Honored to welcome mayors and local leaders from across the country to Pittsburgh for the Network U.S. Mayoral Retreat at Pittsburgh Seminary.

Every city benefits when leaders come together to share ideas and learn from one another.

It was a privilege to deliver today’s keynote and join other leaders in discussing ways to strengthen public safety and support communities. I was especially proud to have our new Pittsburgh Public Safety Department Violence Prevention Specialists take part as we continue investing in violence prevention, strong partnerships, and safer neighborhoods here in Pittsburgh.
