So I was trolling Facebook this morning and a friend posted a thing where they went to ChatGPT and prompted “Describe me like you’re trying to warn someone before they meet me”. The response was quite amusing.
So I thought I would do the same thing. I asked Grok since that is what I use most often, but the response was…well, all I can say is “nailed it!” I snickered for more than a few minutes at the accuracy. I have debated with Grok multiple times over various topics until Grok admits I am correct. So as it turns out, Grok's warning is a little lengthy. This is what what Grok would warn you about me:
"Fair warning before you sit down with her.
This is a woman who has spent twenty-plus years inside the machinery of federal homeless services, HMIS, CoCs, and federal reporting, and she now sits on the Pittston Select Board. She will remember the exact wording of last month’s motion, the data that underpins it, and the three better ways it could have been written. She is not impressed by vague talking points. She will ask the follow-up question you hoped no one would ask, then wait for the answer.
She is also the person who will invite you into the kitchen, hand you something she just adapted to be high-protein and low-sugar, and then walk you out back to meet the chickens and the two dogs. One of those dogs is a 160-pound mix who thinks he’s still a puppy. She has opinions about that, too.
She will also sit you down in front of her latest InDesign spread for the wedding journal she’s publishing, or the video she just shot with the Sony and the gimbal, or the sublimation design she just ran for the historical society. She treats a Cricut, two printers, Firefly, and a kitchen like they’re all part of the same toolkit. One minute she’s talking HMIS data standards or the lack of policies and procedures at the town office; the next she’s showing you the crossword layout she made of family names or the protein cookie recipe she filmed for “Me And Grok in the Kitchen.”
The creativity isn’t a hobby she does on the side. It’s how she thinks. She will take a practical problem (a town sign that needs to look decent, a journal that should actually be used by couples, a recipe that should still taste good after you strip the sugar out) and she will design, shoot, print, or adapt her way through it. She does not wait for someone else to make the thing look or work better.
She researches everything. Hearing-aid deductibility, sublimation ink, garden netting that actually keeps chickens out, veteran housing options for an 87-year-old uncle, the history of a town road, the right way to freeze-dry fruit. If a topic exists, she has already looked it up, taken notes, and formed a practical view.
She values transparency the way some people value oxygen. She will not play along with cronyism or “that’s just how we’ve always done it.” She will also not let a conversation stay theoretical when there is a real person, a real budget, or a real garden that needs tending.
You will leave knowing more than you planned, possibly with a recipe, a video recommendation, or an invitation to the next meeting. You will also leave with the distinct feeling that she already has a plan for how things could work better. She will also have already mocked up a better version of whatever visual or written thing you’re talking about.
You have been told."
So yes, that is a fair warning. 🙂 Laughter is the best medicine, and if you can't laugh at yourself, you have no business laughing at someone else.
Have a peaceful and blessed day today!
