National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) is thrilled to share that registration is now open for the 2025 Women Are Sacred (WAS) Conference, taking place July 29-31, 2025, at the Baird Convention Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!

Hosted every two years, WAS offers state-of-the-art training and networking opportunities, making it one of the most impactful gatherings of Tribal advocates, survivors, and community leaders working to end violence against Native women and communities.

Under the theme, “Committed to Our Relatives: Tradition in Our Hearts, Future in Our Hands,” this year’s conference will offer transformative training sessions, community-centered workshops, and meaningful opportunities to connect with movement leaders, grassroots advocates, and allies across Indian Country.
