As commander of the CHP East Sacramento Office, he partnered with El Dorado County’s supervisors, schools and homeowners’ groups to assess local safety needs. Greg also directed threat analysis and intelligence coordination for the State of California as well as coordinated the state’s Amber Alert Program. El Dorado Hills CSD Cityhood update and CEQA initial study

On May 01, 2025, the El Dorado Hills Community Services District (EDHCSD) Board of Directors authorized the then Interim General Manager, Stephanie McGann Jantzen, to lead an environmental study of the incorporation of El Dorado Hills, as indicated by El Dorado Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo).

The EDHCSD, acting in the capacity of “Lead Agency” for CEQA has prepared a Negative Declaration for the El Dorado Hills Incorporation Project in accordance with, and pursuant to, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The Initial Study concludes that the proposed incorporation would not result in any significant adverse environmental impacts, and that preparation of an Environmental Impact Report is not required. As part of the next steps for this process, the Initial Study/Negative Declaration (IS/ND) is now released to the community for public review and comment.

Public review period ends Monday August 17 at 5 pm.
