Collin County Community Connection

Class X's Texas Realtor Leadership Program is proud to announce the launch of our new website! Please like, share and encourage the use of www.connectingcollincounty.com!!

What is Collin County Community Connection??

The purpose of the website created by TRLP's Class X (Texas Realtor Leadership Program) was to do a project that will impact our community, promote volunteerism and highlight organizations that are currently and eagerly working to assist in aiding those in need.

We are proudly featuring four organizations that help with housing (Habitat for Humanity), food needs (Minnie's Pantry), clothing needs (Hope's Door) and veteran's opportunities (Veterans of North Texas).

The website also encourages volunteer groups established through churches, schools, business organizations, city groups and even on a personal volunteer level to utilize the website and "want to help" tab to easily identify where they can best be of service. The calendar will provide specific volunteer activities that need helping hands, as well as donation needs.

Please pass along the word to anyone you know who wants to help and who needs some...help us make the CONNECTION!

Hello neighbors, If you are a working parent with a 1st grader going to Davis Elementary and are looking for a sitter/moderator/facilitator during the school day, please let me know! My son is starting first grade, and I will be staying home with him to navigate virtual learning. It would be great to have a study companion (and some extra income on my end). I am hoping to keep this as a small group (3 kids maximum) so that I can go through the day’s work with the kids. That way, their lessons will be supervised, and they can have lunch and play together during recess (some much needed safe social interaction during these crazy times!) I’m envisioning this being the duration of the school day (arrival by 7:40am, pick up around 2:45 pm). However, if you are needing something to last the full work day, happy to make that work! We are also able to arrange pick up/drop off to make it more convenient. If this is something you are interested in, please reach out to me by email (mailto:[email protected]), or send me a text at 214-394-4204 to discuss details and logistics. Thank you, and good luck to all of our little ones starting school this week!
