Hope everyone is staying cool out there!

We’re planning our Fall Calendar and want YOUR input: what type of events would you like to see this upcoming season?

A few ideas we’re kicking around:
🍂 November volunteer day — litter pickup, anybody in?
🎃 A Halloween ride?

On June 14,1996, DART Rail made its very first trip. What started as 11 miles of track along the Red and Blue lines in Dallas has grown into one of the nation's most expansive light rail systems. With the opening of more stations and lines -- including the Green and Orange lines -- DART Rail now spans 93 miles across the region.

We are proud to serve the riders, communities, and visitors who make this system worth building. Here's to 30 years of DART Rail, and to the many more adventures ahead.

And so it begins… We will be monitoring and showing up to any transit related vote from here on!

A note from Keep DART in Plano:

At this time, we are not taking an overall stance on the Dallas Stars / Willow Bend arena proposal. However, we will be on record recommending that the City of Plano collaborate with DART in earnest on transportation solutions for this site. Impacts on Plano residents will be immediate: construction disruption first, then game nights that will make that corridor a real challenge to navigate. This venue will already pay into the DART system. That’s an opportunity for a real transit solution, and it deserves a real plan.

📣 Plano City Council — June 8

Sign up to speak by 4 PM Monday: https://forms.plano.gov/Forms/Sign_Up_Citizen_CC

Items 1, 2, and 3 relate to the Stars’ potential move to Willow Bend. When you register, be specific about which item(s) you’re signing up for. You can also speak during general public comment at the end of the meeting.

Expect roughly 60 seconds at the mic and a large turnout. You can register your position for the record at the same link without speaking.

Fair warning: this will be a long meeting. The city and the applicant get unlimited time. Only the public is on the clock.
