SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE  that the Town Board of the Town of Plattekill will hold a special town board meeting on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Town of Plattekill Town Hall.

 The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Bridge BAN and Culvert BAN.

Help Wanted: 🚨 The Town of Plattekill is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Municipal Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with budget preparation, and supporting day-to-day municipal financial operations.

Responsibilities Include:
* Maintaining and updating financial records
* Processing invoices, vouchers, and payments
* Assisting with payroll and account reconciliations
* Preparing financial reports as needed
* Supporting annual budget and audit processes
* Ensuring compliance with municipal accounting procedures

Qualifications:
* Experience in bookkeeping required
* Municipal finance experience preferred
* Proficiency in accounting software

Salary: Approximately $55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
