In Pleasant Grove, safe streets start with each of us behind the wheel. Every day, families, kids, and neighbors rely on drivers to slow down, look up, and stay alert. A few extra seconds of caution can prevent a lifetime of hurt. When we minimize distractions, watch our speeds, and approach every crosswalk with care, we keep our community safer. Let’s drive with intention, protect one another, and make sure everyone gets home safely.

You’re invited to gather with our Pleasant Grove community for a solemn and heartfelt Veterans Day service on Tuesday, November 11 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (500 S Main Street, Pleasant Grove).

We pause at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month—a tradition that began with the Armistice ending World War I—to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and service of our veterans across generations.

Our program will include moving remarks, musical tributes, and a quiet moment to honor and remember. We warmly encourage all veterans to attend and join us so we may recognize you and express our gratitude in person.

Please come, bring your family and friends, and help us fill this sacred place with respect, remembrance, and community.

Just finished the ribbon cutting for Booth House on Main Street!

Booth House, owned by Cate Shaia and Baylee Jensen, is officially open in downtown Pleasant Grove. This beautiful new shop brings a mix of new and secondhand home decor, antique European finds, and creative workshops, along with booth rentals for locals wanting to sell their own home pieces.

We’re so excited to see new business and energy coming to Main Street in downtown PG! Stop by, check out the space, and support this incredible local shop.

I’m deeply grateful to the residents of Pleasant Grove for your trust, support, and confidence in me to serve as your next mayor. This campaign was about building bridges, running a clean and positive campaign, listening, showing up, and working together to make our city stronger.

I also want to recognize Cyd LeMone for her willingness to serve and for her continued dedication to our city. Campaigns take courage and commitment, and I appreciate anyone willing to step forward for Pleasant Grove.

This result wasn’t given; it was built through years of showing up and working together for our community. I’ve dedicated much of my life to serving this city because I truly care about the people who call it home. The result reflects our shared dedication, the conversations we’ve had, and the belief that working together creates lasting progress. This was a community effort built on hard work, service, and genuine relationships.

To my wife, Valerie, thank you for your love, patience, and constant encouragement. And to our family, friends, and everyone who walked neighborhoods and stood beside us through this journey, your support made all the difference.

This election hasn’t been about sides. It’s about continuing the progress we’ve built together and ensuring every voice in our city feels heard. The work ahead will take all of us, residents, city staff, and community leaders, working together to keep Pleasant Grove moving forward.

I don’t take this responsibility lightly. Thank you for your faith in what we can accomplish together. I’m honored to continue serving you with commitment, respect, and hard work. Together, we’ll keep building a Pleasant Grove that reflects the best of who we are.
