Reese Family Reunion 2017 - I am looking at a new date for our reunion for next August in St. Croix Minnesota. This Thursday I am going to try to book next Aug. 18th weekend for us. It is at a Group Camp in Minnesota. We will have the whole camp to ourselves with cabins. It is an inexpensive way to go with a lot of people. I tried to do a weekend later in the summer due to Steph's family trip to Ireland so they may be able to come if work allows. I have to put a $500 deposit down to hold it so I would like to hear from people. It is $525 a night. Please let me know if this sounds like a plan and I will reserve it. That is, if that weekend is still open. I will call this Thurs. asap to reserve it. The soonest you can get one is one year ahead of time and they go fast. Hardly any weekends left. Let me know so I can reserve it. Thanks!!

These are the log cabins for the Flandrau State Park at the Group Center. It is in New Ulm, MN. A great place for a large group. 106 people with a private pond.

I have heard from Todd and he is driving up to Minnesota on the 22nd-23rd of July and could extend it to the 29th, 30th and 31st of of July. That date sounds good to me. Any thoughts?

I sent an email out to some family members trying to get a reunion going for next summer. I was thinking about a group camp in Minnesota close to Minneapolis. I was looking at either Flandrau State Park or Whitewater State Park. We used to go to Flandrau State Park in New Ulm, MN. It was an old POW camp, has a little lake with a beach, 8 cabins with 18 or so beds in them and a large mess hall to eat and cook. It is private so just our group would be there and affordable for those that would have to fly in. Just an idea. If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions let's talk about them. We had so much fun in Okoboji in 2007. Look how young we all look! If interested let me know and add family members that I don't have to the FB page.
