Anu Aryal is a Data Coordinator for the College of Nursing while she goes to school to become a Data Analyst. Anu is originally from Nepal and is a Nepali living abroad. She is part of the Nepalese Student Association, who recently hosted Nepalese Night at ISU. Nepalese Night is a major event every year for the Nepalese community in Pocatello. It’s a day where those who are from Nepal, or whose families are original from Nepal, can all get together to celebrate their culture and country with students, faculty and staff at ISU, along with community members from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Everyone gets to dress up in traditional outfits and enjoy sharing delicious native foods. The event featured traditional dances, songs, and skits performed by members of the group, along with several prizes. Anu says it is a fun event that allows the group to enjoy their home away from home for a night!
