HUGE Victory last night for all of New Jersey!!! We just got word that the DEP is putting a 1 year pause on the crazy flood rules! Mayor Mangan from Manasquan and I are already celebrating. Thanks for fighting alongside us. This is your win. Stay loud, we have one year of public comment to get some sanity in the final product and save middle class families across the state from these ridiculously burdensome costs.

Senator Kim breathed in pepper spray because he put himself between law enforcement and psycho protestors who have been moving barriers and creating chaos. WARNING TO ANYONE PLANNING TO CAUSE TROUBLE AT THE JERSEY SHORE THIS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND:

You will leave in handcuffs. We hold ourselves and our guests to higher standards down here. The police departments in our towns are strong, aware and tired of your BS.

Last year we saw stabbings and chaos on our beaches and boardwalks. This year, we're already hearing about up to SIX pop-up parties being planned for Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant Beach.

Enough is enough.

As the former Mayor of Point Pleasant Beach, I shut pop-up parties down. Kids went to court. Parents were held accountable for their children’s actions.

Now in the State Legislature I remain committed to ensuring families feel safe. Children deserve to enjoy our beautiful shore without fear. But year after year, liberal soft-on-crime policies in Trenton tie the hands of our brave law enforcement and kids learn there are zero consequences for their actions.

I have introduced three bills to fix this and am calling on the legislature to act now. One bill restores penalties for underage possession of alcohol and cannabis (A299). Another bill cracks down on ma*****na use on public beaches (A727). A third bill broadens the definition of rioting and disorderly conduct (A298). All three are sitting in the Assembly Judiciary Committee, not moving. Why? Because Trenton doesn't want accountability.

I commend our police chiefs and law enforcement in Point Pleasant Beach and Seaside Heights and across the 10th District and thank them for their strong leadership. We stand with you

In 2019, the roof was torn off. It was literally raining inside the building. Last night, this historic landmark was finally reborn as an incredible gourmet restaurant and hotel in the heart of downtown Point Pleasant Beach!

Six years ago, when I had just been elected Mayor of Point Beach, the beautiful Gottlieb Building faced the wrecking ball. I was desperately trying to find a way to save it after demo permits had been issued and the roof was ripped off.

In stepped the Fisher family. Steve and Sue saw the potential for our town and our community and made one of the most generous gestures imaginable. They literally helped me save it at the very last minute. The wrecking equipment was literally outside.

Last night, after years of restoration work, the incredible building that was built in 1906 was finally reborn. And wow, does she look incredible.

Darryl and Kristi Monticello opened the gorgeous, gourmet restaurant called “Gourmand” last night. Every single detail was accounted for. I’m not allowed to recommend places as an Assemblyman, but what I can say is that they did the building, this town and our community proud. I’ll let the pictures below speak for themselves.

Ideological nutballs in the NJ State DEP just placed 300,000 additional homes into flood zones blocks away from rivers, bays and the ocean! They’ve admitted to wanting a “managed retreat” where they make life so hard that everyone eventually moves. These rogue lunatics sidestepped the state legislature and you’re left holding the bag. If you improve your house 50% of the value of just the structure (not the land) you’ll be forced to spend about an additional $100,000 to raise it. These people have no freaking common sense and they don’t even understand their own rules. I am furious at how this keeps happening. All this over an ocean that all scientific facts show is only rising at .15 inches a year!

Your entire campaign strategy was to hide in the basement and then always bash President Trump on the few occasions you came out. The beginning of your tenure as Governor has consisted solely of finding ways to take decades of Democrat rule in NJ and somehow blame President Trump for all the state’s problems.

I actually genuinely believe that you are grateful he wasn’t harmed, Governor. Because, if he was, you’d have literally nothing else to do and no other identity to fall back on.

Do you remember when you called him “a threat to all we have sworn to protect”??? It’s comments like those that get people shot.

Update: Attempted assassin may be Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old male from California, a registered Democrat.

Attempted Trump shooter down after storming the lobby of the White House Correspondents Dinner tonight. Gunman tried to get through the metal detector and took a shot at a secret service agent and that agent returned fire. Trump, his cabinet secretaries and family evacuated and confirmed safe.

He is now in custody.

The end of insanely excessive EZ Pass fines! Clarity about why it costs so much to run the damn system in the first place! Fairness and transparency for the millions of New Jerseyans and New Yorkers getting abused by this bureaucratic nightmare!

The other week, I stood on Pier 45 along the Hudson River with my friend, Democrat New York Senator Monica Martinez to announce our plan for sweeping reforms and a bipartisan, NJ/NY EZ Pass task force.

We laid out the results of 9 months of research that uncovered just how badly responsible drivers like you are getting screwed because of repeat offenders who abuse the system.

CBS, NBC, ABC, PIX 11, News 12 and more were there to tell the story of our plan to finally get to the bottom of this broken system.

Why are fines so much excessively higher than the toll that was violated?

Why does EZ Pass make it impossible for users to get resolution from their customer service department?

Why does it cost so many hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to run a system in 2026 when AI could simply use existing cameras, read license plates and instantly bounce the results off of relevant databases?

We plan on getting to the bottom of all of it! I’ve asked my colleagues in the NJ Legislature to join me in these common sense reforms and will be reporting back more on the latest soon. For now, take a quick look at the video recap of our announcement!
