The Greater Polson Community Foundation, in conjunction with the Showboat Cinema is proud to sponsor a special showing of the classic 1954 Christmas movie – “White Christmas” starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen. A successful song-and-dance team become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save the failing Vermont inn of their former commanding general.
The showing is specifically for senior citizens who have not been able to get out during the pandemic and will be shown at the Showboat at 10am on Tuesday, December 22. Cost is $3.00 per person. You must be 55 or older to attend.
The Showboat follows state, local and CDC Covid 19 guidelines for places of assembly as well as implementing a new CinemaSafe program to keep our patrons safe and comfortable. The CinemaSafe program requires that both patrons and employees wear masks (except when consuming concession items in the auditoriums). After an entire year of construction, the newly remodeled and expanded Showboat Stadium 6 movie theatre, located at 416 Main Street in Polson, is open with all 6 of their elegant new auditoriums. Gary Dupuis, general manager for Polson Theatres, says. “We are very proud to be offering our community an opportunity to see movies in a clean, safe facility on big screens with new comfortable stadium seating and state of the art digital picture and sound.”
