ZEPHYR, OUR PAC'S V-P, HAS PASSED AWAY!

We mourn the loss of Zephyr Tate-Mann, who has been the long-time Vice-President of our Inland Democratic HQ PAC and has managed the operations of our campaign headquarters.

She also served the Democratic Club of Claremont as Board Member, Vice-President and President before and during Barack Obama’s Presidency.

She has been a member of the L.A. County Democratic Central Committee for many years, most recently representing Assessor Jeffrey Prang since his election to office. Possessing a law degree, she participated in the committee which vetted judicial candidates and recommended the best for endorsement by the Cental Committee.

She was repeatedly elected by her Assembly District delegation to the State Central Committee.

Every election for many years she organized and hosted a public forum of Democratic candidates for judgeships, and she distributed a list of those endorsed by the County Central Committee. This information would otherwise have been unknown by many Democratic voters.

Zephyr was a hard worker for the Democratic Party.

A memorial service celebrating her life is planned for 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, in Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 North Garey Avenue, Pomona (toddchapel.com).

Yes, It is Election Time again! It is so important that we elect the best Judges to our Courts.

As many of you know, for many years I have served as a member of The Los Angeles County Democratic Party and a member of its Judiciary Interviewing Committee. Our task is to vet and interview Democratic Judicial candidates and recommend them for endorsement by The Democratic Party.

Customarily, I sponsor a forum for our judicial endorsed candidates under the auspices of The Inland Communities Democratic Headquarters PAC, in cooperation with other Democratic Clubs and UFCW Union 1428. However, because we still have some uncertainties about the COVID virus, I will not sponsor an in-person forum for this March 2024 election.

I am still an advocate for our endorsed judicial candidates. If you
receive this information and do not live in Los Angeles County but have family and/or friends who live in Los Angeles County, please share this information with them.
