Thank you to Ridgewood SeniorLiving for stopping by with a treat for our crews 🥨. On Sunday evening they experienced a fire, but thankfully, the quick response of the Galloway Township Fire Department and the assistance of Galloway Township Police Department all residence were temporarily moved to a safe location and cared for while fire crews did their work.

We will be sending out a seperate release and thank you to all those agencies from accross South Jersey who responded soon.

Thank you to University of Pennsylvania Hospital for showing and educating our interns. They were invited to the helipad where the flight crew from PennStar educated them on their operations and mission. A very special thank you to Scott Tilton. Scott started with GTAS at the age of 16 as a junior member of the ambulance squad. Now Scott has a successful healthcare career working as a critical care nurse practitioner. Scott is also an active member of the Bayview Volunteer Fire Company

⚽️FIFA World Cup 2026⚽️

Our teams were incredibly honored to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The past 39 days have been some of the most rewarding, challenging, and truly historic moments in our agency's history as the eyes of the world descended on New Jersey for the largest sporting event in American history.

From supporting Team Haiti🇭🇹 at Stockton University to protecting the crowds at yesterday's FIFA World Cup, Argentina 🇦🇷 vs. Spain 🇪🇸, our personnel were deployed across the state—fully prepared and ready for anything.

We want to extend a massive thank you to our partners at the NJ EMS Task Force and The New Jersey Department of Health for their incredible leadership throughout this monumental operation. Kudos as well to the New Jersey State Police for ensuring a safe, secure, and seamless event for millions of fans.

Our crews are definitely looking forward to getting some well-deserved rest, but as always—we stand ready for the next call.

Today, we proudly kicked off our Summer 2026 Intern Program, marking the fourth consecutive year of this vital initiative.
We are honored to partner once again with the Atlantic County Workforce Development, the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, and new this year Egg Harbor Township High School to make this program possible.

Pictured here are the students and our newly promoted supervisor Maddie Plummer who will act as the advisor for the summer.

By blending academic concepts with hands-on, real-world experience, our program is designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of public safety professionals. Over the next seven weeks, these student will undergo an immersive, fast-paced curriculum in an environment that cannot be reproduced in the classroom.. The impact of this initiative is clear: many of our program alumni choose to return to serve our community professionally after graduation.

We look forward to sharing their progress and documenting their journey over the coming weeks.
