I voted by "mail in" or Absentee Ballot for 23 years while on Active Duty. If I trusted the system to count my vote then, why wouldn't I trust it to count my vote now? Do I think additional steps should be taken to ensure the security and accuracy of all votes? YES. And not just because they are mail in. Absentee voting is a valid and necessary way for many people to easily cast their vote. Even in Maryland, where gerrymandering has already decided the outcome, people should feel their vote is counted. Even if it doesn't count because of gerrymandering. If the voting system is that broken, that we can't trust absentee ballots, then FIX the system! Real Solutions. Not Politics!

Politicians who have been in office for decades and blame the new guy for everything are disgusting, and think “we the people” must be stupid.

Joe Biden threatened to take this union worker’s “AR-14” in a train wreck of a viral video. That union worker’s name is Jerry Wayne and one day after the interaction, he went out and got an “AR-14” in honor of Joe. This is his message to America:

Lawmakers Are Warned That Russia Is Meddling to Re-elect Trump

People fail to understand things rarely are as they appear. There is a very intentional and manipulative effort to disinform the public. And I still find it difficult to believe so many continue to fall for this.

A classified briefing to House members is said to have angered the president, who complained that Democrats would “weaponize” the disclosure.

Seriously though. I live in the wonderful Agricultural Reserve in upper western Montgomery County, MD. Farming is so much more than owning a plow and planting seeds. Farmers are experts in high tech equipment, domestic and foreign markets, robotics, drones, algorithms, and so much more. Bloomberg is simply one of the many political elites who preach what they think their voters want to hear and have no idea what the average person needs.

‪I get it. 🎈's are an issue and I support the ban on releasing them to wonder aimlessly until they become litter. BUT, come on, please at lease prioritize your legislative issues! Gerrymandering. Crime. Sanctuary cities. Traffic. Over-regulation. ‬ Our state legislators have been in session for a month and have 2400 bills to review. 2400 bills!! Ridiculous. I'll bet none have them have identified what success looks like, or established measurable standards or data points to track success or failure. We should be demanding more from our state legislators.

Bernie Sanders in 1972: 'I don't mind people calling me a communist'

One does not need to dig very deep to find the roots of this man. The roots that shape his values, his opinions, and his actions. These are not the roots of an American Patriot.

President Trump's recent jab at Bernie Sanders, calling him "a communist," was meant as an insult. But the 2020 Democratic front-runner and Vermont senator might not have taken it that way.

House Rebukes Wilson for Shouting ‘You Lie’

"This is about the rules of this House and reprehensible conduct." This quote would certainly be appropriate for Speaker Pelosi's actions last night at the SOTU, where she "committed a breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of the joint session, to the discredit of the House."

A vote on a rebuke to Representative Joe Wilson came after a Congressional clash over civility that showcased the deep partisan divisions in the House.

02/05/2020

I refuse to dignify the event with a picture. Speaker Pelosi's actions throughout the SOTU was unprofessional at best.

Proposal to tax digital ads to help Maryland pay for education is met with skepticism, opposition

Be prepared to suffer the bombardment of additional taxes as a direct result of Kirwan and an indirect result of more businesses and families leaving the state. And to add insult to injury, regarding education, Montgomery County celebrates the lack of real school choice.

Advocates hope a digital ad tax could be one piece of the funding puzzle for the education reforms recommended by the state’s Kirwan Commission.

This tag line reflects the basis of my belief and I used it when I ran for the MD State Senate in 2018. Once we can root cause a problem, we can begin to create real solutions. That is if those with the authority to solve it, really want to solve the problem. I'm not a politician. I'm a public servant, whether I'm in an elected office or not. I'm all for free enterprise, but when our public officials are getting rich while Americans are dying, that's an entirely different story. A story our elected officials should be forced to explain.

Why does insulin cost so much to patients in the USA and around the world? Why is insulin, a widely sold drug of which most forms are now off-patent, so incredibly expensive? Larry Hogan

How will your representative vote? This is the top issue that moved me to run for state senate. Gerrymandering steals your vote! This is America. Your vote should count. Citizens are suppose to pick their representatives, not the other way around.

We're leading the fight to end partisan gerrymandering. An overwhelming majority of Marylanders, regardless of party affiliation, strongly support our nonpartisan redistricting plan.

However, year after year, the legislators who did the gerrymandering have ignored the will of the people and hidden this critical reform legislation in a drawer, refusing to bring it to the floor for a straight up-or-down vote.

Join the fight to end gerrymandering in our state:

Bottom Half of Households Nearly 50% Richer Under Trump

Every now and then I hear someone say they don't care about the economic growth because their pay hasn't increased and they don't own stock. Most of us don't have the true situational awareness of the economy without the aid of other organizations that do this as part of their mission. If we want the bigger picture and are open to accepting data and analysis, articles like this are helpful. If you are part of movement that can't accept anything good from the POTUS, then it doesn't matter anyway. I'm with science!

The Trump economy is giving the greatest benefits to those who have been at the bottom, according to new data from the Council of Economic Advisers.

My Story

On a mission to support Gov. Hogan by balancing the legislative power in Maryland. David served 23 years in the US Army and retired as the Command Inspector General for the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (Fort Detrick, MD), at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He operates his own business, (Response Masters, LLC), as an emergency management professional. He earned his masters degree in public administration from Central Michigan University. As an outdoorsman, David has always had a respect for and desire to ensure we maintain a balance with nature. As a member of the local Isaac Walton League and Sugarloaf Citizen’s Association, David maintains a critical relationship with those who are effected most by local laws and policies.

Re-electing Gov. Hogan is a great idea. Changing the faces of the Maryland General Assembly is a critical action we must take seriously to give Gov. Hogan the balance he needs to accomplish the best for the most. In his first term, the current majority in the general assembly denied Gov. Hogan the ability to give voters back their power to select their representatives. The current majority in the general assembly refused to fix accountability in our public school system and refused to permit transparency in our state legislative process. We must re-elect Gov. Hogan for the good of our state. We must replace those in the general assembly, who refuse to allow accountability and transparency in our government.

Vote for David Wilson, State Senate, District 15, because Maryland deserves real solutions - not politics.

Thanks for the invite.
David I'd like to thank you again for running such a good campaign. I hope we get to see you in other positions of service to our county. There's lot's of committees that are always looking for new members.
I came home from New York to vote for you tomorrow!! Tony’s registered there so can’t do it, but we send prayers, love and my vote in support!!
How do you stand on a convention of states? conventionofstates.com
As an education professional having worked in secondary education for thirty-six years and in higher education for over twenty years, with the past fifteen years specifically focused upon educator preparation I have seen public education from multiple sides as a teacher and in a role preparing those who will work within the public education system. Upon this basis of education and experience I base my statement of endorsement for David Wilson for Maryland Senate. David Wilson was a student in my English class and a member of my yearbook staff, and a cast member in a play I directed at Roosevelt Wilson High School. In multiple roles, he stepped forward to take leadership and to assist his fellow students with his natural teaching ability that became the focus of his collegiate education. Although David graduated from college with an education degree, he pursued a career in military service, but has taught in various venues and in the public schools since his retirement from the Army. David Wilson has become a life-long friend and professionally aligned education colleague whose focus upon the intricacies of education, learning, and the profession as a whole are a testament to his dedication, commitment, and ethic in providing for the learning of others. I wholeheartedly endorse David Wilson for Maryland Senate. Karen H. Morgan Ed.D.
I have known Dave for a long time, since we were kids and I can tell you what kind of a person he was then. Dave was always a very caring person and always willing to jump in and lend a hand for anything you needed. His family always made sure all the neighborhood kids were ok when we were playing at Dave's house. Dave was very personable and always making new friends. When a lot of us strayed and were misbehaving Dave always stayed on the right course and was there to help us up when we fell. I left to serve my country so I lost contact with him but just knowing that he also served this great country and sacrificed his life and family time so we could all sleep at night is all that I need to know that Dave never wavered off course. This man is all about doing the right thing for those around him and if giving the chance he will do great things for the people of Maryland. He will always strive to do good for the PEOPLE.
Best of luck David. Run hard and help each and every one of us!
Congratulations on your election!!👏
Dave is a great candidate and wants your support. Please do so.
I've known David since 1st grade and his family. I'm behind him 100%. Wish I could vote, but in FL these days.
