Preaching to the choir, but someone needs to hear this.

How is it working in Canada? Well in Ontario, the country’s largest province, the cost of nationalized health care took up 46% of its entire budget in 2010. By 2030, that number is projected to be 80%. The tax increases in the U.S. would be STAGGERING.

Israel and United Arab Emirates Strike Major Diplomatic Agreement

This is what real leadership looks like. Real leadership isn't directing governors on how they should lead their states. This is what the Obama/Biden executive team failed to do for eight years.

President Trump announced that Israel and the United Arab Emirates would establish “full normalization of relations” and that in exchange Israel would forgo for now “declaring sovereignty” over occupied West Bank territory.

Join, share and learn. It's that easy.

Contrary to what leftist radicals in Hollywood and the mainstream media tell you — conservative principles are always at the heart of flourishing economies and healthy societies. But why?

To answer that question, the Leadership Institute put together this free course, with lectures from brilliant conservative minds like Mark Levin along with Heritage Foundation and Hillsdale College staff members.

Activate your free course today and discover—or rediscover—the beauty of conservatism, and why it still works so well to this day.

Nine Districts for MoCo

Today the County Council voted to have 7 districts members and 4 at-large members. When given the option to require the at-large members to live in different geographic areas of MoCo, they voted it down. This proves that their real intent is not fair representation, but maintaining down county crescent power!

VOTE FOR DIVERSITY OF GEOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATION!

Governor Larry Hogan
08/03/2020

Governor Larry Hogan

"Governor Larry Hogan today issued an amended emergency order ensuring that local schools retain the primary authority to initially determine when to safely reopen their facilities for in-person instruction based on public health guidance.

Under an order issued April 5, local health departments continue to have the authority to close any individual facility deemed to be unsafe.

After signing the amended order, Governor Hogan issued the following statement:

'The recovery plan for Maryland public schools stresses local flexibility within the parameters set by state officials. Over the last several weeks, school boards and superintendents made their own decisions about how and when to reopen public schools, after consultation with state and local health officials.

'Private and parochial schools deserve the same opportunity and flexibility to make reopening decisions based on public health guidelines. The blanket closure mandate imposed by Montgomery County was overly broad and inconsistent with the powers intended to be delegated to the county health officer.

'To be clear, Maryland’s recovery continues to be based on a flexible, community-based approach that follows science, not politics. As long as schools develop safe and detailed plans that follow CDC and state guidelines, they should be empowered to do what’s best for their community.

'I want to thank all the parents, students, and school administrators who have spoken out in recent days about this important issue.'”

Not a numbers guy, but this article presents a clear and simple breakdown everyone should be able to understand.

I have already made the case that systemic racism in law enforcement is a myth. The claim that racist police are prowling the street searching for black men to murder is absurd on its face, and even absurder when you look at the facts. It is by now well publicized — at least in some […]

Imagine, if we took to the streets every time our Constitutional rights were violated. Imagine rioting at the homes of the elected officials who violate their oath of office. Imagine being focused on an issue until it was solved. Imagine bucking the system we've supported so long because it no longer supports the original intent of our Founding Fathers. STOP imagining these things and take Acton!

Here’s The Good COVID-19 News That’s Being Buried By The Press

I'm not a numbers guy, but my work requires lots of data and lots of numbers. Fortunately, I've always had really smart numbers people working with me. The one thing I always insist on is putting data in context and stating the BLUF (bottom line up front). Few articles do both. Most do neither. This article at least provides additional context we aren't hearing with current headlines of how cases are rising. Please don't misinterpret my intent. The COVID-19 situation is real and continues to be very serious, especially for those at a higher risk.

The Wuhan virus is a nasty bug. But its virulence appears to be waning.

How do you or the Planning Department have enough contextual information about these Soldiers to make a decision about their honor?

When we name a street or a building, we are not merely reflecting history. We are using our public funding and assets to bestow a high honor. These public tributes should appropriately reflect the entirety of our community and our values.

We're asking county government and the Planning Department to review and rename streets and facilities named after Confederate soldiers - an important step to confronting and openly dealing with our history. Thank you to my Montgomery County MD Council colleagues for your strong support.

There Is No Epidemic of Racist Police Shootings | National Review

When looking for Real Solutions, the facts are very important, and sometimes difficult to find. This article from last year presents an interesting perspective. It is a racial group’s rate of violent crime that determines police shootings, not the race of the officer.

A new study debunks a common myth.

Open our churches now | Opinion

Since "Congress" did not make a law to prohibit the free exercise of religion or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, are the state initiated COVID-19 restrictions for churches against the Constitution? Can a state's governor violate the US Constitution without legal reprimand? As someone who swore an oath to support and DEFEND the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, it infuriates me how our rights are violated. Open places of worship, now!

It is long past time to let religious Americans return to the pews.

My Story

On a mission to support Gov. Hogan by balancing the legislative power in Maryland. David served 23 years in the US Army and retired as the Command Inspector General for the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (Fort Detrick, MD), at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He operates his own business, (Response Masters, LLC), as an emergency management professional. He earned his masters degree in public administration from Central Michigan University. As an outdoorsman, David has always had a respect for and desire to ensure we maintain a balance with nature. As a member of the local Isaac Walton League and Sugarloaf Citizen’s Association, David maintains a critical relationship with those who are effected most by local laws and policies.

Re-electing Gov. Hogan is a great idea. Changing the faces of the Maryland General Assembly is a critical action we must take seriously to give Gov. Hogan the balance he needs to accomplish the best for the most. In his first term, the current majority in the general assembly denied Gov. Hogan the ability to give voters back their power to select their representatives. The current majority in the general assembly refused to fix accountability in our public school system and refused to permit transparency in our state legislative process. We must re-elect Gov. Hogan for the good of our state. We must replace those in the general assembly, who refuse to allow accountability and transparency in our government.

Vote for David Wilson, State Senate, District 15, because Maryland deserves real solutions - not politics.

How do you stand on a convention of states? conventionofstates.com
As an education professional having worked in secondary education for thirty-six years and in higher education for over twenty years, with the past fifteen years specifically focused upon educator preparation I have seen public education from multiple sides as a teacher and in a role preparing those who will work within the public education system. Upon this basis of education and experience I base my statement of endorsement for David Wilson for Maryland Senate. David Wilson was a student in my English class and a member of my yearbook staff, and a cast member in a play I directed at Roosevelt Wilson High School. In multiple roles, he stepped forward to take leadership and to assist his fellow students with his natural teaching ability that became the focus of his collegiate education. Although David graduated from college with an education degree, he pursued a career in military service, but has taught in various venues and in the public schools since his retirement from the Army. David Wilson has become a life-long friend and professionally aligned education colleague whose focus upon the intricacies of education, learning, and the profession as a whole are a testament to his dedication, commitment, and ethic in providing for the learning of others. I wholeheartedly endorse David Wilson for Maryland Senate. Karen H. Morgan Ed.D.
I have known Dave for a long time, since we were kids and I can tell you what kind of a person he was then. Dave was always a very caring person and always willing to jump in and lend a hand for anything you needed. His family always made sure all the neighborhood kids were ok when we were playing at Dave's house. Dave was very personable and always making new friends. When a lot of us strayed and were misbehaving Dave always stayed on the right course and was there to help us up when we fell. I left to serve my country so I lost contact with him but just knowing that he also served this great country and sacrificed his life and family time so we could all sleep at night is all that I need to know that Dave never wavered off course. This man is all about doing the right thing for those around him and if giving the chance he will do great things for the people of Maryland. He will always strive to do good for the PEOPLE.
Best of luck David. Run hard and help each and every one of us!
Congratulations on your election!!👏
Dave is a great candidate and wants your support. Please do so.
I've known David since 1st grade and his family. I'm behind him 100%. Wish I could vote, but in FL these days.
