Get ready to touch, explore, and get behind the wheel! The City of Port Hueneme 5th Annual Touch-a-Truck event is returning to Hueneme Beach Park on Saturday, October 10th from 11am-3pm! This is a FREE community event that allows kids to see, touch, and learn about their favorite trucks or vehicles.

There will be arts & crafts, food vendors, music, and much more!

Get ready for a thrilling night of family fun! The City of Port Hueneme's 5th Annual Spook-Tacular Celebration will be hosted on Wednesday, October 21st from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Moranda Park! There will be music, treats, a pumpkin patch, carnival games, face painting, and much more!

Good Boy Gator!!! Yesterday our law enforcement partners with the Ventura County Sheriffs Office worked an investigation in our community and served a search warrant at a residence in Port Hueneme. PHPD Officer Tubbs and K-9 Gator assisted with the search. Gator’s assistance on the search led to the discovery of a significant amount of co***ne, ma*****na, psilocybin, amphetamines, and illegal pills with some suspected of containing fentanyl. They also secured am******on for fi****ms and money from the search. Thank you Officer Tubbs and Gator and thank you to our partners with VCSO! Public Safety is Teamwork!!!

The City will be adding diagonal parking along Bolker Drive between Sharon Lane and Hemlock Road to improve parking conditions and create approximately 20 additional spaces.

Striping is scheduled for Friday, September 11th. Parking will not be permitted along this section of Bolker Drive until the work is complete. Please follow all posted signs and move vehicles from the work area in advance.

As part of the Bolker Drive Emergency Storm Drain Repair Project, a portion of the southern parking lot at Bolker Park will be temporarily closed beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4. The closure is expected to remain in place for several weeks. Please remove all vehicles from the designated area before the closure begins, as any vehicles remaining in the closed area may be towed. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience while this important repair work is completed.
