As far back as I can remember, I’ve been involved in the Town of Greenfield. Some of my earliest memories are walking in the town parade with my siblings and cousins, all of us dressed in handmade "Little House on the Prairie" dresses- thanks to my mother, grandmothers and aunt. My parents made sure we were involved, and what felt like miles of walking back then were really the first steps in a lifelong connection to this community.
I’ve volunteered in town since childhood—whether it was playing a shepherd or angel in the nativity scene at Greenfield Baptist Church, volunteering for Project Lift at Greenfield School, or serving for many years as President of the Auxiliary at the Porter Corners Firehouse. Greenfield is MY home—and most likely always will be.
Over ten years ago, I joined the Greenfield Republican Committee, and since then, I’ve regularly stopped into Town Hall just to say hello, offer support, or lend a helping hand. Now that my children are more independent and I have more time to give on a consistent schedule, I’m ready to step into a new role by running for Town Board.
I’m running because I want future generations to experience the same small-town charm and sense of connection that I grew up with. I want to help preserve the vibrant, close-knit, family-friendly atmosphere that makes Greenfield such a special place to live.
Yes, town government includes budgets, Town codes, and the less glamorous work that keeps things running—but that work matters. It’s time for me to move from the “fun” side of community involvement into the important, day-to-day work that helps shape our future.
I hope to bring a fresh perspective to the Town Board, to help move things forward, and most importantly—to keep the lines of communication open between residents and leadership. Our strength is in our community, and I want to help keep that spirit alive.
