It's Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!
This month we celebrate Asian and Pacific American members of our community, like PPD Officer Samanthajane Bailey.

Officer Bailey is a proud Filipino American. Officer Bailey served in the US Army as a military police officer for 13 years before joining the Portsmouth Police Department. Officer Bailey has been with Portsmouth PD for nearly two years and is currently assigned to the 4th Platoon, District 2 in the Uniform Patrol Division. Officer Bailey is a member of the Honor Guard and Recruitment team.
Thank you Officer Bailey for your service to our country and the community of Portsmouth.
