🎶 Come on ladies, let’s go workout! 💪🏼🎀

Study shows that staying active can help lower the risk of breast cancer for women, whether or not they have a family history.

Moving your body 2.7 hours/week of moderate exercise or 1.5 hours/week of strenuous exercise can help decrease the risk. Regularly working out can also increase how long some women with breast cancer live.

Help us encourage movement - share some ways you stay active in the comments⬇️

🤝 us helping you crush your nutrition goals

Achieving your nutritional goals doesn’t mean cutting out certain food groups. Being aware of what you eat and how much you eat of certain foods are what’s important 🔑 Below is a breakdown of what Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health recommends as a healthy eating plate 🍽️

🥦🍎 1/2 of your plate = vegetables and fruits in various colors and varieties

🍚🍝 1/4 of your plate = whole grains

🐓🐟 1/4 of your plate = protein

To maximize reaching your goals, it’s also recommended to pair your diet with healthy oils, plenty of water, and staying active.

Drug overdose deaths reached 93,331 in 2020 — the highest number ever recorded. Minority groups, incarcerated individuals, and impoverished communities are more at risk of dying from a drug overdose.

We can decrease this number by preventing substance use disorders, using evidence-based treatments, reducing harm, and helping more people access recovery support services.

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, help is available: visit hhs.gov/overdose-prevention to learn more.

If you are someone who uses approved over the counter or prescribed medication, be sure to do so responsibly.
