The Ohio Senate approved a 90-day suspension of Ohio's 38.5¢ gas tax and 47¢ diesel tax, saving Ohioans an estimated $725 million at the pump through the holidays.

Highway projects and local governments are covered by this year's budget surplus, and the Rainy Day Fund won't be needed.
