Tomorrow is Election Day, and our campaign is feeling the momentum! As you head to the polls to make your voice heard tomorrow, I ask that you remember all of the work that I have done to keep Powhatan “Powhatan” and prevent large developments from making us the next Chesterfield. I have fought to cut your taxes and hold our Board of Supervisors responsible for how they spend your hard-earned money. I have had the distinct pleasure of serving as your Supervisor for more than a decade. Make a plan to vote, and make your voice heard!

I have spent more than a decade serving as your District 1 Supervisor, standing up for our values and supporting our Powhatan way of life. I have been a watchdog for us on the Board of Supervisors, fighting to cut taxes and hold the line on County spending while reducing debt. I am proud of my conservative record of standing up for YOU on the Board of Supervisors. Our work is just getting started. We must continue to stand up to big development interests who don’t care about our rural heritage and want to make us another Chesterfield. Saturday is the last day to vote early, so make a plan and make your voice heard before it is too late!

My family has called Powhatan County home for generations, dating back to the 1700s. I have spent my life serving our country and our community. I am proud of the work that I have accomplished for Powhatan County. If you want to see our rural community overdeveloped and sold to big business, then I am NOT your candidate. I have always fought, and will continue to fight, against over-ambitious development interests that want to make Powhatan another Chesterfield.

It is an honor to receive the endorsement of the Virginia Citizens Defense League Political Action Committee!

On unanimous consent, this pro-Second Amendment PAC has endorsed our campaign and rated me a "Very Pro-Gun" leader. Powhatan needs a fighter who will stand up for our way of life. I will continue to be that leader!

Early voting starts today! Don’t wait until Election Day to stand up for our Powhatan way of life. To vote early, please head to the Powhatan Registrar's Office at 3910 Old Buckingham Road and drive behind the building using the entrance off Tilman Road (by the ball fields). The stakes are too high this election. We can’t let real estate development interests buy this election. If we want to preserve our Powhatan way of life and prevent our community from becoming another Chesterfield, we need to get as many people as possible to the polls. Don’t wait, vote early! On this solemn day, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We pay tribute to the brave men and women who selflessly responded, the first responders, firefighters, and police officers who rushed into danger without hesitation.

In my capacity as a member of the Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Organization, I spoke yesterday on the need for rural counties to be included as part of any regional transportation planning and how we, working with GRTC and the upcoming micro-transportation pilot in Powhatan, will address the special needs of our citizens.

One thing is for certain: Henrico can creep into Goochland. Closer to home, Chesterfield will never creep into Powhatan! I am proud of my record standing up to overdevelopment and unchecked growth in our rural community. I will always fight for our Powhatan values and way of life.

Some residents of eastern Goochland are determined to keep their home rural. But development is knocking on their door.
