Please cut string, plastic circles, or anything that could get trapped around wildlife and possibly suffocate, injure or kill.
I have been trying to get close to one of the fawns that were released this season to just the plastics from around her shoulders. You can see the line in her fur here before i got it off.
It was starting to bleed in her armpit.
Today I got it off!

Please share and save a life!

The babies are thriving on fresh picked greens, and my daughter and I are committed to giving them access to all they need, twice a day. Currently, they are receiving formula twice a day, and we could really use your support. I just invested in a 20lb tub arriving on Tuesday from Henry's Pets, costing about $150, and we will need at least two more before they are released. We have taken proactive steps with f***l testing for the runs, at $45 each, and subsequently provided medicine, all of which requires financial resources. Can you help us make a difference?

She is alive..critical but alive. The Great Horned Owl from Preston CT continues to fight for her life against a human caused issue, rodenticide poisoning. She was able to take in a small meal independently so there is a glimmer of hope. We will keep our expectations in check and give her the best of care in hopes she can overcome this horrible condition. Yesterday included a number of rescue organizations that helped this owl and I am humbled and proud to work among the best! Thank you to Spicy Paws Wildlife Rehab for the initial call, to CT Outback Rescue for going out to contain and transport and to A Place Called Hope for the steady guidance and unwavering support. We always work to get the animal the fastest and best care and are fortunate to have a phenomenal wildlife Rehab community that works together for the best outcomes! 💚🦉
