All DOD civilians must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 22, Pentagon orders

While seven weeks remain until the deadline, Defense Department employees only have until Nov. 8 to receive their final shots. The Pentagon does not consider a person fully vaccinated until two weeks after the last shot in the series is administered.

A Soldier assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as “The Old Guard,” takes part in military funeral honors for Army Cpl. Lloyd Odom at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., Aug. 11, 2021. Odom was reported missing in action on Dec. 2, 1950, when his unit was attacked by Chinese forces. He was taken prisoner and died of his wounds on Jan. 31, 1951.

The U.S. Army Women’s Foundation and the Fort Lee AUSA Chapter invite you to attend the 2021 Women’s Equality Day Observance on Thursday, 26 August 2021, at 1:30 EDT.

The program will be presented at the U.S. Army Women’s Museum at Fort Lee, Virginia, featuring MG Mari K. Eder, U.S. Army, Retired, as the Guest Speaker. MG Eder will discuss the WWII women servicemembers from her book, The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line.
