Thank you everyone for a wonderful Rum River Festival weekend! We loved seeing our community come together and celebrate.

We would love to see everyone again at Princeton's celebration for America's 250th anniversary! Festivities will begin on July 4th and will include a Free Day at the Splash Park, contests, live music, and fireworks at the end of the night.

Happy Sunday! We can't believe the 2026 Rum River Festival is coming to a close. Thank you to those who have helped this year's festival be so successful and memorable!

We will be wrapping up this wonderful weekend with the Princeton Lions Pancake Breakfast, which will begin at 7:30 AM and end at 11:30 AM. They will be serving pancakes, kielbasa, eggs, hashbrowns, coffee, milk, and juice. This event will be hosted at the Princeton Municipal Airport and will feature a three aircraft formation flyover performed by the T-6 Thunder Group!

Additionally, there will be a "Grand Finale" of the Vendor Fair, which will be hosted at the Mille Lacs County Fairgrounds. This event will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.

Happy Saturday! Thank you for an already fantastic Rum River Festival! Today, we have even more fun events up ahead.

We will be starting off today with the Rum River Festival 5k, which will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 10:00 AM. This event is pet-friendly, so everyone is able to run with their leashed furry friend!

Afterwards, make sure to check out the Princeton Farmer's Market, which will be located in the Old National Bank parking lot. The Farmer's Market will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM.

The Rum River Rumble Car Show will be hosted at the DSMI Center from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be live music and food trucks at this event!

The children's Bouncy Houses and Civic Betterment Club's Flower Show are back today! Again, they will both be located in the Princeton Mall and go from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Additionally, the Vendor Fair will be located in the Princeton Mall, which will also go from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There will be over 70 vendors and food trucks at this event, so be sure to check it out!

Visit the Splash Park from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM for a FREE DAY sponsored by the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

This afternoon, visit the Elite Auto Foam Party from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the Princeton Mall. Take a break from the heat and play in the foam!

Happy Friday! Today is the second day of the 2026 Rum River Festival!

We had a blast last night at the Rum River Festival Parade and the Rum River Festival Block Party and are so excited to see you at the fun events planned for today!

Join us in the Princeton Mall for children's Bouncy Houses, the Civic Betterment Club's Flower Show, and the Vendor Fair. These events will begin at 4:00 PM and last until 8:00 PM.

Additionally, there will be a Polka Dance from 5:00 to 7:00 in the Princeton Mall, with live music from the Chmielewski Band. If you need to brush up on your Polka dancing, there will be lessons offered from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM!

The Lucky Duck Race will be hosted in Riverside Park from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. If you would like a Lucky Duck Race ticket, you can purchase it from the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce office, which is located at 507 1st Street, or you can purchase from a Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce board member. Tickets are $10 each and you must be 18 years old or older to participate.

Finally, we will wrap up this amazing day with the Princeton Ambassadors Coronation. This will be located at the Princeton High School Performing Arts Center and there is a $10 admission fee.

Thank you to the Princeton Bulletin for hosting the Rum River Festival City-Wide Garage Sales and providing this list of sales affiliated with the event! This event will begin today, June 4th, and wrap up on June 7th.

There will be several residential sales around Princeton and even more at the Mille Lacs County Fairground, which is located at 1400 N 3rd Street.

The Rum River Festival Parade is tonight! The Parade will begin at 6:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM. We can't wait to see our community come together for a night of fun, friends, and family!

Make sure to check out the amazing food truck vendors along the route! The Ratz Nest, Firehouse BBQ, and the Pizza Barn food truck will be located along Rum River Drive. Hunter's Grill Mobile will be located on the corner of 1st Street and 8th Avenue.

There will be portable restrooms and trash cans located along the route. Please refer to the map below for their location.

Tomorrow, June 4th, will be the first day of the 2026 Rum River Festival!

The City-Wide Garage Sale and Medallion Hunt will be kicking off on Thursday and will last the entire weekend. Physical maps of the City-Wide Garage Sale can be found at City Hall or the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce. Visit the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce page the morning of June 4th for the Medallion Hunt's first clue!

On Thursday evening, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, there will be the Rum River Festival Parade. For more Rum River Festival Parade information, please visit: https://www.princetonmnchamber.org/rum-river-festival

After enjoying the parade, head over to the Rum River Festival Block Party! The Block Party will begin at 7:30 PM and end at 10:00 PM. There will be a live band, a Milaca Meats Cookout, activities for kids, and more! The Block Party will be at the Princeton Ice Arena, which is located at 511 Ice Arena Drive.
