On Friday, August 14, the Peoria County Planning & Zoning Department received an application from Repsol Renewables related to the development of a wind farm, Four Creeks Wind, in the northwest corner of Peoria County.

The application documents, project map, and Peoria County Zoning Board of Appeals hearing details are all available at https://www.peoriacounty.gov/wind.

The Zoning Board of Appeals public hearing is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 14, at 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn & Suites Peoria at Grand Prairie. As needed, the hearings will continue daily from September 15-18 and September 28-October 1. Full details are available at https://www.peoriacounty.gov/wind.
