First of all I want to truly thank our sponsors and the people that came out and fished our 3rd annual catfish tournament.
Congratulations to Sonny Scott and Johnny V with the 5 biggest fish. 74.86 lbs.and there biggest fish 25.32 lbs.
Second place . Johnny Derrick and Zeb Wicker with 37 total catfish.
Once again thanks to everyone that showed up and helped sponsor our fundraising event. Newberry county has some great businesses that helped support this and great fishermen that came out and had a great time and helped support our Volunteers with much needed money to buy firefighting equipment.

The burn ban is still in place across South Carolina.
Dry conditions, gusty winds, and low humidity continue to fuel a high wildfire risk statewide. The South Carolina Forestry Commission has issued a State Forester’s Burning Ban until further notice.
This ban means no outdoor burning in unincorporated areas. That includes yard debris, prescribed burns, campfires, bonfires, and any recreational fires.

Members assisted Bush River and Whitmire with a car and woods fire on the interstate. Members responded a tanks for additional water needed to help in firefighting efforts.
