Two wonderful educators with 36 and 35 years of dedicated service are retiring from the Pulaski Community School District this in just about a week.

Pam Engel has held a variety of roles in the district, including teacher, principal and in the district office. She has left and indelible mark, and we thank her for her years of leadership.

Amy Angeli has taught at both Fairview and Glenbrook, mostly kindergarten. Two generations of Pulaski Red Raiders have passed through her classrooms, with great success.

Thank you for all you've done. And best wishes on all you are yet to do.

It was a joyous, and maybe a little melancholic, night for our staff, families and Class of 2026 graduates.

It is hard to say goodbye to a great group of students, but we are all excited for your future endeavors. We know you will represent us well!

And thank you to our band, choir, broadcast team and all the staff members who made last night special.

Join us in celebrating and congratulating two more retirees today: Paula VanDerLinden and Peggy Goddard.

Mrs. VanDerLinden serves or school communities at Lannoye and Fariview Elementary Schools as the school counselor. She has worked with students in our district for 31 years!

Mrs. Goddard has is finishing up her fifth and final year as the principal at Lannoye Elementary.

Both have poured a lot of themselves into their schools and left them better than they were previously. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us. Here's to your next adventure!

Continuing our recognitions and celebrations today with our two Pulaski High School retirees: Jeff Waggoner and Stephen Blackford.

Mr. Blackford is finishing up his 30th and last year teaching, and he is also a longtime football and basketball coach in the district.

Mr. Waggoner has split his 15 years at the district between PHS (school counselor) and PCMS (dean of students).

A lot of gratitude is owed to both men for their dedication to the Pulaski Community School District. Thank you for serving our students and community. Your contributions will be felt for years to come.

At our staff recognition banquet, we had the privilege to celebrate some valued friends and colleagues before they head off into a much deserved next chapter in retirement.

From Sunnyside, we thank Jacqueline Baumann, Julie Bedora and Paula Goeben for a combined 94 years of service to PCSD students! We will surely miss your talents and personalities, but mostly your dedication to our students!

Thank you for all the early mornings, late nights, stressful afternoons, laughs and cherished memories!
