Jr Ranger badge collectors like we are? Thanks to a super duper Ranger at the LBJ Ranch (Stonewall, TX) yesterday🥰, we found out about this fun, exclusive 'LBJ eclipse' badge available only at the LBJ boyhood home site in nearby Johnson City! It's Lyndon Baines Johnson (you know, the 36th president) wearing eclipse glasses. 😂😂 Obviously they are while supplies last, so if you are around hill county in TX, be sure to swing by asap! While the LBJ ranch location is obviously the bigger draw of the 2 sites, you cannot get the eclipse book or either badge there, so this time, stop at both! 😉
Also, it's bluebonnet season, so get the camera out!🤩

Pro tip: if you need to do a quick repair job on one of your rigs, hit up an !
Parts and tools in one place; use their lot as long as you are finished and outta there by closing, and for us, this one was literally a block away!! Have a teen along to provide cheap labor and we just saved over $200!😂🤩🤩

At one of our happy places! If you like Pickleball, you'll LOVE Pictona at Holly Hill (near Daytona Beach, Florida).
Last night we drove in for a Holiday Round Robin Food Drive Social, and today it's just all day on the courts! So fun to see old friends again, and to make new ones!🥰 Pickleball is the best on the road sport for sure!!

On five days in 2023, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer FREE admission to everyone.

On these significant days of commemoration or celebration, and throughout the year, the National Park Service is committed to increasing access to national parks and promoting the advantages of outdoor recreation for public benefit and enjoyment.

Mark your calendar for these entrance fee–free dates:

If you aren't in Florida already, double check your plans! We drove into Florida today, checked into our campground where we will be through the weekend for Joel's pickleball tournament, and are supposed to head to a different campground on Monday. Not 2 hours after we check in, next week's park calls and says they are not going to reopen (from hurricane damage) until next year. Can't stay here because they are booked.
Florida, in December. Good luck finding a walmart parking spot let alone a camping spot. 😭

Do other traveling kids look like this when traveling through been there-done that areas? 😂😂😂
