Looking for homework help?
Applying for financial aid?
Would your child behave better for another adult while practicing his/her reading skills?
Working on a resume?
Are you studying Spanish as a foreign language?
Studying for the ACT/SAT?
Applying to college?
As a parent are you lost in your child's math curriculum?

My name is Margaret and I am a private tutor here at Quantico. I am a credentialed teacher and currently teach adult education for Fairfax County. If you or your child would possibly benefit from some support in one of these areas (math too!) please PM, text or call! I'd love to set up an initial meeting to talk about your goals.

What is private tutoring?

Who?: myself, I'm a credentialed teacher with experience in both CA and NC. Have worked with students K-12 in a range of learning environments.

What?: one-on-one tutoring

Where?: Either in your home or a quiet, public place.

When?: I am available after school, evenings, and weekends. I reccomend 1-2 hour sessions, once or twice a week (depending on the needs, age, and personality of the student).

Why?: Because being a parent is hard enough! There is a big difference between parenting and teaching. Maybe you feel overwhelmed because your son/daughter is behind in a certain subject or not at grade level. Maybe you forget how to multiply fractions and feel bad you cannot help him/her with their math homework. Also...children behave better for other adults!
I also can teach Spanish as a second language. Help your son or daughter get ahead and provide them with the invaluble skill of becoming bilingual.

How?: Facebook, call, text, or email! [email protected] 805-268-5458
