We received this feedback recently about our food pantry and wanted to share. We partner with many local organizations in order to ensure the needs of our neighbors are being met. This is one of those organizations. We're blessed to be able to have partnerships like these that allow our work to extend well beyond the barriers of our food pantry.

Sometimes we find that we have an abundance of certain food items in our pantries, so we use these items to create nutritious recipes for our shoppers to try, and if they like it, they can snap a photo of the recipe and take the ingredients home right then to make it themselves.

This week's taste test was "James' Gulosh". A tasty mixture of brown rice, ground meat, vegetable soup, and mixed veggies, flavored with your favorite seasonings. An easy dish to make, and a relatively healthy option that will feed the whole family.
