ATTENTION VILLAGE OF QUINCY:

Tomorrow Wednesday May 27th is the annual Girls on the Run Race at 6PM. During this time there will be a temporary 4-way stop placed at S Main St and Jefferson St.
Please be cautious of runners during this time, if we all work together we can make this a smooth event.

ATTENTION QHS seniors and parents:

First I want to give a huge congratulations to the senior class of 2026, enjoy these last days of high school and may you continue to do great things in life!

That being said I was notified that tomorrow is the last full day of school for the class of 2026. I want remind you of ordinances that we have in the Village of Quincy and Quincy Township one in particular ORV’s. ORV’s/four wheelers of any kind are prohibited in the Village of Quincy and Quincy township. That being said Officer Hurley and my self have agreed to es**rt the seniors to the high school while they drive their ORV’s/four wheelers with the following guidelines.

-students must have ORV’s/four wheelers dropped off behind the Quincy Fire Department no later then 7:45

-students will have an es**rt back to the Quincy Fire Department leaving the high school parking lot at 3:15 where ORV’s/four wheelers will need to be picked back up.

Again, ORV’s/four wheelers are to NOT be driven on Village and township roads until es**rt from Quincy Fire Department parking lot. This is to insure the safety of your child/student and those around them.

The Quincy Police Department will be conducting a short training this morning at Jennings Elementary. We would like to thank the Quincy Community Schools for allowing us to use the school to make sure our Officers are ready for any call. Thank you all and have a safe New Year.
