💦Swimmer's itch season is here, but with simple prevention strategies, you can keep the splash but skip the rash! When you’re swimming, remember to:
🩱Dry Off Immediately: Vigorously dry off with a towel, especially behind the knees, underarms, and around swimwear edges.
Swim Later in the Day: Risk is highest in the morning, so opt for afternoon or evening swims.
🏊Avoid Swimming in areas with heavy aquatic weeds or snails, areas frequented by large numbers of ducks or geese, and avoid still pools of non-chlorinated water.

Several layers of sun protection work best:
- 👕Clothing that is lightweight and covers
- 😎Sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat
- 🏖️Shade, especially when UV rays are strongest
- 🧴Sunscreen, at least SPF 15. Be sure to reapply often!
