📢 Attention White Birch Residents

To help ensure timely and safe refuse collection, please follow these cart placement guidelines on pickup day:

✅ Place your refuse cart on the opposite side of your driveway than the light pole.
✅ Position the cart 3 feet from the curb.
✅ Leave at least 3 feet of clearance from all other objects, including: Vehicles, Trees, Mailboxes, Utility poles, Other refuse or recycling carts

🚫 Please do not place carts next to the light pole.

🚨Attention Breitung Township Residents: 🚨

Revised tax bills will be mailed with, or shortly after, the standard tax bill mailing. The revised bill will be clearly marked with a watermark and notation indicating that it is a revision.

Please ensure that payment is made using the amount shown on the revised tax bill.

The revision was necessary to correct the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District (DIISD) Special Education millage.

The Treasurer’s Office apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at (906) 779-2065.

Fire Hydrant Flushing is Scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th and Wednesday, June 17th.

Customers may experience discoloration in the water. If you do, please run water for several minutes until the water clears. There may also be a slight drop in water pressure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hydraulic Falls Road will be closed to all traffic beginning on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, until further notice, for guardrail upgrade and replacement. Closure will begin at We Energies Hydraulic Dam Road through to Menominee Street. (Previously graveled portion of the road)
