After careful consideration the North Carolina Child Support Conference scheduled for August 26-28, 2020 has been rescheduled for August 25-27, 2021.

Concerns over the Covid-19 Pandemic have prompted the rescheduling of the 2020 conference by the NCCSC Board of Directors. The health and safety of our attendees, presenters, and sponsors are our top priority. Travel and budget concerns were also considered in our decision. The Embassy Suites Greensboro Airport agreed to reschedule the event therefore the location will not change.

We are fortunate to have great attendees and partners and thank all who help make our annual conferences possible. Without your support that would not be possible.

Scholarships to high school seniors, awards to local offices for outstanding work and recognition of employee(s) of the year will continue. Please continue paying membership fees to support these functions.

The NCCSC Board of Directors will continue planning what will be an amazing conference and look forward to seeing everyone in Greensboro in 2021.

Sincerely,
Alden P Miller

From today's briefing with Governor Roy Cooper , NCDHHS Secretary Mandy Cohen and other officials on #COVID19NC:
A person in Wilson County tested positive for COVID-19, and this is the 1st time a positive case of COVID-19 in NC is due to community spread.
⚕️ What is community spread?
Community spread occurs when people have been infected with the virus & are not sure how they were exposed to it.
❓ What does this mean?
- Hospitals should postpone elective surgeries to conserve supplies & staff to respond to COVID-19.
- People with mild illness should stay home, they do not necessarily need to be tested for COVID-19
- Social distancing (6 feet apart) becomes more important. Those at higher risk for severe disease – 65+ or with an underlying health condition – should stay home as much as possible.
