HOW WILL YOU BE GETTING HOME THIS WEEKEND?

It’s a simple question that could save your life or someone else’s. Plan ahead and always have a sober ride lined up before you start drinking. The Randolph Township Police Department is participating in the end-of-summer crackdown to prevent impaired driving tragedies.

**REOPENED**

ROAD CLOSED FOR PAVING

Pleasant Hill Rd will be closed in both directions between Park Ave and the Chester Border for paving. On the Chester side the road is closed at Golf Course Rd. Residents who live in house numbers up to and including 50 will have to come in from the Chester side (this includes side roads Selma, Marre, Sorman, Barney and Mel).

We will provide an update when the road is reopened.

ROUTE 10 UPDATE:

WESTBOUND Route 10 has been fully reopened to traffic.

Eastbound Route 10 remains closed with the exception of access to The Oaks Community.

WOODBROOK RESIDENTS:

At this time, we do not have an access plan to your neighborhood. We are anticipating one lane of Route 10 East being reopened in 1-2hrs. We are asking for your cooperation and patience while JCP&L is making the necessary repairs to get a lane of travel open.

PLEASE DO NOT STOP IN THE WESTBOUND LANES OF ROUTE 10 TO CROSS THE MEDIAN. If you have an emergency, please contact 9-1-1 and we will respond to assist you.

ROUTE 10 UPDATE - 10:50AM

Route 10 remains closed in both directions.

ACCESS TO WOODBROOK:

Residents of Woodbrook may exit the complex onto Rt 10 East as they normally would. Residents needing to return to the Woodbrook Community should do so via Dover Chester Rd. Residents will travel Rt 10 West at Dover Chester Rd and will be cross the center median to gain access to the Woodbrook Community. Please follow the directions of the officers and cross the median where you are directed. DO NOT DRIVE AGAINST THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC.
Officers are stationed in the area to assist motorists.

ROUTE 10 UPDTATE - 9:35AM

ROUTE 10 remains closed in both directions. JCP&L and NJDOT are on scene working on repairs. The damage sustained to the JCP&L equipment was significant as three (3) utility poles were damaged.

THE OAKS RESIDENTS:

Access to and from The Oaks complex can be made using the eastbound lanes of Rt 10 at the Canfield Ave intersection. Please be aware that access to AND from of the complex should be made utilizing the eastbound lanes of travel. Motorists should not attempt to cross the grass median onto the westbound lanes of travel. Officers are stationed at this location to assist motorists.
