Elect Linda Brackett Select Board

Elect Linda Brackett Select Board I am running for Selectboard in my beloved town of Raynham. As a resident for the past 37 years, I have seen many changes in the town.

Some positive, many negative. With my Strong, Compassionate Leadership, we can move the town forward.

I have met many wonderful people during the last six weeks. I have heard everyone’s concerns and the issues that they are passionate about. Be assured I will do my best to represent each and every one of you. I appreciate the overwhelming support. Please stop by and say hello or wave on your way to the polls. And most importantly, vote! Polls are open from 10 am to 8pm at Raynham Middle School.

Thank you to all that came today!

Well, that is it. We’re coming to a close. I’ve been campaigning earnestly for the past six weeks or so and, after having gone to the American Legion Post 405 & Senior Center, talking with many residents out and about in town concerning different issues and ideas, something that I would like to strive for if I win the select board seat that seems very doable is a reserved parking spot for a veteran at the senior center and possibly town hall. I would also hope to help implement the banner program that we see so much of in the surrounding towns & cities. I have never run for political office before, and it has been an excellent experience speaking to so many different people. Please consider me for your vote on Saturday, April 25. Thank you very much.

In Raynham's 295-year history there have only been 3 women selectmen.
In 2025, the town changed the term to Select board. I would be honored to be the 4th woman select board member in Raynham's history. Please vote Linda Brackett. This Saturday, April 25th.

Over the last few weeks, I have had the pleasure of meeting various individuals from school officials, young families, veterans, seniors, and public safety personnel, and many other public servants. They all had many different things to say and shared a few concerns as well. If elected, I believe I’ll have to do my best to meet all their needed requirements when possible. I’ll be honored to have your vote this Saturday, April 25th! A vote for me is a vote for ALL of Raynham.

Election Day is coming soon. Today, I would like to mention senior and veteran housing. Over the past several weeks, these topics have come up daily. Our seniors and veterans need a safe and affordable place to call home. While no one person or board can solve this problem. Everyone needs to work collaboratively to achieve this goal.

I have spoken to many people over the last several weeks. This includes young parents, middle age working people, and senior citizens. Everyone is worried about the schools and providing a great education for all children. Many people have asked if current and previous select board members haven’t been able to solve the problem how can you? That's a great question! I am only one person and never have been a parent myself but I will be more than happy to advocate for our youth anyway possible. However, I need to be transparent here. Along with myself, to the best I can the school superintendent; school committee, finance director, and finance committee need to all work together. This is not an issue one person can solve especially me as a select board member when we have an elected school committee that has jurisdiction over the schools.

💜A vote for me is for ALL of Raynham. Do not make a mistake or let the quiet, respectful campaigning approach diminish the earnest, passionate desire, on behalf of the Town, for this open select board seat. I’d be honored to have your vote on April 25th. Thank you! 💜
