EXPOSED: Are Nash County Citizens Being Hit With Millions in New Taxes — Without It Being Called a Tax Increase?

When spending goes up, when debt payments rise, when property valuations increase, and when fees quietly climb… your tax bill can go up — even if officials say “we didn’t raise taxes.”

Words matter. But math matters more.

Unlike other taxes, which fluctuates with economic circumstances or interactions with the market, property taxes are based on assessed values that may have no relationship to a homeowner's actual ability to pay.

Early voting begins today.

Nash County is at a crossroads — and the decisions we make now will shape our future for generations.

We need open government that values transparency, accountability, and honest communication with the people.

We need a renewed focus on public safety — ensuring EMS coverage, law enforcement support, and responsible planning that protects our families.

We need smart growth — growth that strengthens our local economy without sacrificing our farmland, heritage, or quality of life.

We need to invest wisely in infrastructure and education — planning responsibly so our roads, schools, and services keep pace without burdening taxpayers unnecessarily.

This election is about leadership, priorities, and protecting the future of Nash County.

I would sincerely appreciate your vote.
