Last week, some of our team had the chance to attend the National Opportunities Exchange Conference, and it was an incredible reminder of why professional development matters so much in our field. When we invest in learning, collaboration, and innovation, our programs — and the providers we serve — grow stronger.

We’re especially proud of Amanda and Rebekah, who presented on the amazing work Iowa’s coaches are doing to support child care programs. Their session highlighted real strategies, real progress, and the real impact coaching has across our state.

From connecting with national partners to sharing Iowa’s success stories, this conference energized our team and reinforced our commitment to supporting providers with the highest level of quality and care.

Here’s to continued learning, collaboration, and the powerful work happening in Iowa every day.

National CPR & AED Awareness Week is a great time to refresh your skills 💙

For childcare providers, being prepared isn’t optional—it’s essential. Providing CPR right away keeps blood flowing and gives children the best chance until emergency help arrives.

Take a moment to invest in your professional development and lifesaving knowledge:

Immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest. Keeping the blood flow active – even partially – extends the opportunity for a successful resuscitation once trained medical staff arrive on site.
