Renee Nicole Good was a 37‑year‑old U.S. citizen, mother, partner, and community member in the Twin Cities who was fatally shot by an ICE agent in south Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. Officials and family describe her as a kind, loving person who was not the target of any law‑enforcement investigation.
She was a U.S. citizen and the mother of a six‑year‑old child; the child’s father, Timmy Ray Macklin Jr., died in 2023.
Her mother, Donna Ganger, called her “one of the kindest people I’ve ever known,” describing her as loving, forgiving, and affectionate.
