I had the opportunity to attend the Re-Opening of the Jasper/Pulaski Shooting Range today. Indiana's DNR Director Alan Morrison came to offically re- open the facility. The improvements that have been made are outstanding! Definitely worth a visit to enjoy another of our many outdoor activities!

While I'm not a golfer and have witnesses to prove it, we had a excellent day at the FOP outing. Sandy Pines Golf course hosted a first class event once again. Our Indiana Commissioner Chairman Tyler Warman joined us for the day and low and behold he turned out to be a ringer! Thank you to everyone that put this outing together, a beautiful day on a beautiful course with great company! A soild win !

Jasper County lost an extremely valuable source of information with the passing of Mr. Schenk. His obituary outlines his many personal accomplishment, but I knew him as a man that helped keep our community informed of the current happenings. He did this with great accuracy while not imposing an outside opinion. This type of reporting seems to be a thing of the past. Seeing Mr.Schenk at the local meetings and reading his post will be missed by many myself included. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. We will always remember the role he served by his own choice to inform those whom read.
