Public Safety Roadmap Summit
Looking to the future — Over 100 public safety officials traveled to blazing Arizona to share their ideas on the evolution of public safety communications and the #FirstNet network. Their input will be used to help build the FirstNet Authority Roadmap, a doc that will guide the growth, evolution, and advancement of the nation's only network dedicated to public safety.

Connecting and Testing FirstNet in Rural Communities
Virginia and Maryland first responders recently hosted a search and rescue exercise in rural Virginia. With a FirstNet deployable on site, first responders were able to easily share data and communicate not only with the command post, but also with the agencies’ headquarters hundreds of miles away.

Terre Haute Air Show 2018
Scorching temperatures didn't stop nearly 40,000 spectators from attending last year's Terre Haute airshow. While temperatures rose into the triple digits, so did heat-related emergencies. Indiana's responders were able to successfully handle these incidents thanks to advance planning by the Integrated Public Safety Commission - Indiana and Indiana Department of Homeland Security. Event organizers recognized the need for a reliable broadband connection and deployed #FirstNet to ensure responders across disciplines and jurisdictions could communicate without issue.
