Richardson Economic Development Partnership The Richardson, Texas Economic Development Partnership is a joint initiative between the City of Richardson, Texas and Richardson Chamber of Commerce providing detailed information for corporate site selections, expansions & relocations.

In January 2013, REDP was recognized as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). Richardson is the first entity in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to earn this accreditation, and stands apart as the only community in Texas - and only the second nationally - to have achieved dual honors through AEDO accreditation and the five-star accreditation earned by the Richardson Chamber of Commerce in 2011.

Rezoning of the Collins/ Arapaho Transit-Oriented Development and the Innovation District is underway and the City is throwing a party to celebrate! A block party will be held on June 13th and 14th for Richardson residents and stakeholders to learn more about the Innovation District and offer feedback to city planners on what they would like to see the area become.

Texas Instruments to build $3.1 billion manufacturing plant in DFW | Richardson Economic Development Partnership

Texas Instruments picked #Richardson for a new manufacturing site that is estimated to garner about $3.1 billion in capital investments and create more than 480 jobs, according to the Office of the Governor Greg Abbott.

This announcement comes after months of hard work by the City of Richardson, PISD, Collin County, Richardson Chamber of Commerce, and Governor Greg Abbott. Richardson was chosen by T.I. as the location for its new facility over another U.S. location and an international location.
