She has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, U of MN and completed masters studies in Environmental Sustainability at Harvard. She is married and has one son and three delightful grandchildren.

I am a Hilton Honors member for decades. But not anymore. I will be going to other hotels. Taking my money to places that support our communities. ICE will detain the very employees you have changing their beds and scrubbing their toilets. Do not make the mistake that your employees are here with legal status. They are picking up all people of color. People with documentation.

You need to stand up with your employees and with the communities where you have hotels. Your choices are shameful. I can’t support your corporation. Your silence speaks loudly

This is truly one of the best times of the year for the South Metro, and I couldn't be more proud to join together with all the amazing public servants, local businesses, advocacy groups, and neighbors, and volunteers who make this event happen. I am honored to serve another term as Hennepin County Commissioner in the Fifth District. It is the privilege of my lifetime to be able to join in partnership with you, the residents of this amazing county we call home. Undoubtably, the challenges and ramifications presented by the incoming president and his administration are great, and still somewhat unknown at this point. Regardless, I am here to work collaboratively to ensure that county government is doing everything possible to improve our way of life, protect our neighbors, increase service delivery and innovations locally, and provide a stable and consistent governance structure that we can all rely on. Don't give up the fight. Thank you for your vote, your faith, and your support.

With only one day out from Election Day—we are not letting up. 💪 We had wonderful conversations this weekend out door-knocking, and rest assured that DFL'ers will be pressing the important issues and making sure everyone has an opportunity to vote up until 8pm tomorrow. 🗳️

Bill Nye? Chili cookouts? Candidate meet and greets? Door-knocks? Just another GOTV week as a DFLer and elected official making sure every voter knows just how critical the stakes in the election are, and how important it is that we vote. Like Bill Nye said: "when we fight, we change the world." And oh yeah...science rules. ⚛︎🔬🧬
