Nineteen of our SOS seniors enjoyed an unforgettable field trip on June 4th, exploring the John Wayne Museum, experiencing the excitement of the Fort Worth Stockyards Cattle Drive, and sharing a delicious lunch at Riscky’s Steakhouse—complete with portions as big as Texas itself!

From discovering history and Western heritage to making memories with friends, this special outing was filled with smiles, laughter, and great fellowship. Thank you to Atmos Energy for generously sponsoring this wonderful experience for the seniors we serve. ❤️

📞 It all started with $60 and a vision to help.

In 1981, social workers Beth Cochran and Mari Donaldson saw a need among local seniors and took action. With a small office provided by Richland Hills United Methodist Church and $60 from a pastor to install phones, Mid-Cities Care Corps was born.

What began as neighbors helping neighbors has grown into Serving Our Seniors—providing transportation, social outreach, Helping Hands yard maintenance, and compassionate support to older adults throughout our community for 45 years.

As we celebrate our "45 Days for 45 Years" Anniversary Campaign, we're honoring the people, partnerships, and acts of kindness that built this organization from the ground up.

💛 Help us continue their legacy by making a donation, sharing our story, or introducing someone new to the mission of SOS. (Donation link in bio.)

Together, we're building the next chapter of service for local seniors.

Our May Flowers Senior Social was filled with joyful moments—from relay games and table games to fellowship under the outdoor pavilion at CrossCreek Church. Clients enjoyed a beautiful spring afternoon together along with a delicious Italian lunch generously provided by our sponsor, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of the Mid-Cities. 🍝☀️

A special thank you to longtime volunteer Patricia Johnson for the handmade spring ornaments that added such a thoughtful and personal touch to the day. 💐

We are incredibly honored to have been selected as a grant recipient at the 28th Annual Caring with Commitment Celebration, hosted by the Colleyville Woman's Club on April 30, 2026.

This inspiring evening celebrated the power of community—recognizing youth achievements, honoring community partners, and awarding critical funding to local nonprofits. Thanks to the generosity of their members, donors, and volunteers, the Colleyville Woman’s Club awarded an incredible $206,000 this year alone.

Since 1978, their dedication has helped raise more than $4.5 million to support North Texas nonprofits and student scholarships. We are deeply grateful to be part of that legacy.

Thank you, Colleyville Woman’s Club, for your continued commitment to strengthening our community 💙

What an incredible day at the 2026 Serving Our Seniors Annual Golf Tournament! ⛳🎉

Because of this amazing community, we are proud to share that SOS exceeded every goal set for this year’s event-an accomplishment made possible by our generous sponsors, dedicated golfers, and supporters who showed up in a big way for local seniors.

A very special thank you to our Title Sponsor, Jason Ridley Agency - Independent Insurance Agent, for their continued leadership, generosity, and commitment to our mission. It's not often a business will close their offices for a day to support a non-profit and we are incredibly grateful to their unwavering support.

From a SOLD OUT tournament to a beautiful day on the course at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek, everything came together to create a truly meaningful and memorable event.

Because of you, more seniors in Northeast Tarrant County will receive the support they need to remain independent, safe, and connected in their homes.
