🚨 AUTO EXTRICATION 🚨

On Friday evening at approximately 6:17 PM, Engine 36 was dispatched for a two-vehicle accident at Richlandtown Pike and California Road.

Assistant 36 arrived on scene to find one vehicle off the roadway and a tanker truck carrying dry cement off to the side of the roadway. Richlandtown Command was established, and multiple fire police companies were requested to assist with securing the roadway and maintaining scene safety.

Upon arrival, Engine 36 crews immediately went to work on the passenger vehicle. Crews removed both doors and completed a dash push, safely extricating the patient from the vehicle for EMS to transport.

Crews from Richland Township Fire & Rescue and Quakertown Fire Company Number 1 assisted securing the involved vehicles, mitigating hazards, and clearing debris from the roadway in preparation for Grant’s Towing. Kirk’s Towing was also requested to assist with the recovery of the tanker truck.

Fire crews remained on scene for approximately 90 minutes before clearing the incident.

Fire police remained on scene for an additional two hours, maintaining traffic control and scene safety while the tow companies completed their work and the roadway was cleared before returning to station.

A sincere THANK YOU to all of the mutual aid companies, fire police, EMS, and towing crews who came out to assist us. Incidents like this are a great reminder of how important mutual aid is to our community.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elda Fox, a dedicated member of the Richlandtown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Elda devoted countless hours of service to our fire company over the years. She faithfully served as our radio operator for many years and was always willing to lend a helping hand with our fundraisers, especially our hoagie sales. Her dedication and commitment to our company will never be forgotten.

Please keep Elda’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We ask that you especially keep her son, Deputy Chief Tod Fox, and the entire Fox family in your hearts as they mourn the loss of their beloved mother and family member.

Rest in peace, Elda. Your years of dedicated service will be forever remembered as part of the Richlandtown Fire Company family.

Join Us in Honoring the 25th Anniversary of September 11th.

Richlandtown Fire Company is honored to participate in the American Legion Post 242 Quakertown Patriots Day Ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown.

The event is open to the public from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the Official Patriots Day Ceremony beginning at 11:00 AM.

Our 9/11 World Trade Center Steel Memorial will be escorted to the event as part of the memorial procession, honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the brave first responders who answered the call, and all those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.

Throughout the morning, attendees can experience:

* The 9/11 Steel Memorial Processional
* Static displays from military, fire, police, and EMS agencies
* Personal accounts and testimonies from those connected to the rescue efforts
* A medevac helicopter demonstration
* A timeline remembrance marked by the tolling of a bell

We invite our community to join us in remembrance as we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unity that emerged from one of our nation’s darkest days.

🚨 Motor Vehicle Accident 🚨

At 2:06 AM, Engine 36 was dispatched to a one vehicle accident on Richlandtown Pike between Wrecsics Road and State Road.

Upon arrival, crews assisted with patient care, mitigated hazards, and cleared debris from the roadway after Kirk’s Towing removed the vehicle.

Crews remained on scene for over an hour before returning to the station.

🚨 Traffic Accident 🚨

Yesterday at 5:16 PM, Engine 36 was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at Richlandtown Pike and California Road.

Special Service 36 and Fire Police also responded to assist with traffic control and scene safety.

Upon arrival, crews assisted the patients, secured the involved vehicles, mitigated hazards, and cleared debris from the roadway after Grant’s Towing removed the vehicles.

Crews remained on scene for approximately an hour before returning to the station.
