This campaign wasn’t about chasing high-propensity voters or focusing on only certain neighborhoods. We showed up everywhere because every resident matters.
We knocked doors in every corner of Richmond. We worshipped in churches across our city. We hosted community events, listened to families, met with small business owners, and spent time with our seniors in retirement communities and care homes.
Because if you show me where you campaign, I’ll show you where you care.
For us, this campaign has always been about all of Richmond—not just the neighborhoods that are easiest to reach, not just the communities that traditionally vote the most, but every resident who calls this city home.
That’s the kind of mayor I will be: a mayor for North Richmond, the Iron Triangle, Marina Bay, Point Richmond, Hilltop, the Richmond Annex, the neighborhoods in between, and every community that makes our city special. Thank you to everyone who opened their doors, shared their stories, and trusted us with your hopes for Richmond. Together, we’re building a city where every voice is heard and every neighborhood matters.
