There comes a time in our lives where dogs begin to make their journey to the rainbow bridge, you know that it will happen someday but you are never fully ready to accept when that time comes. Spartacus was a surprise gift to my husband 12 years ago and also part of the original Valley Danes crew, he loved to play with any ball you gave him and loved to stand up and give hugs.
Yesterday Spartacus made his journey and crossed the rainbow bridge, we hope that Checkers & Barney were there to greet you old pal. We will always miss you 🩷 🐾

Hey Valley Danes!
It has been such a long time since we posted and have been active. Last year and this month two of the biggest reasons we created our page years ago crossed the rainbow bridge. To know they were with us for 10/9 wonderful years filled with beautiful memories and the mascots and inspiration of the RGVs original great dane page was such a privledge. A lot of our orignal members who supported this page from the start personally met these two giants. They were the sweetest, well behaved, and loving danes. Just wanted to come on here and honor them with this post. They deserve all the credit for countless of Dane Dates and I am sure the reason many loved great danes as well! All our members were such a big part to our dane dates and for that we are forever grateful for taking the time and letting us getting to meet your furry giants and family.

May our angels Checkers & Barney be enjoying endless dane dates in heaven💖🙏
